Ride Notes

The ultimate cycling break mixing both riding and watching classic Alpine climbs of the world's most famous bike race. In 2020, the Tour takes in some incredible mountain stages featuring the Col de la Madeleine, Grand Colombier, Roseland and the Col de la Loze.
Our five night package moves from the Aix les Bains to the Trois Vallees and then onto Beaufort & Annecy. We ride all of the two major stages split over four ride days and watch the tour on the stage finish at the Col de la Loze and then the following day on the Roseland.

Real Rider Reviews

Phil, Etape du Tour, 2019: "My second trip with this company and like last year they gave good service to the cyclist. Definitely would recommend this company to potential cyclists who want to travel abroad as they offer a varied and interesting group of trips whether they be sportives or just being guided. "

Ride Highlights

  • Ride the stages before the pros

We ride stage 17 the day before the pros and then ride up the Col de la Loze on race day to watch the stage finish. We then ride the first half of stage 18 and see the race on the Roseland.

  • Watch the world's best bike race

On stage 17 & 18 we get in place early to watch the action on the side of the road. The atmosphere is always lively and this is an experience not to be missed!

  • Ride classic climbs including Grand Colombier

As well as all of stage 17 and 18, we also tackle the Grand Colombier on Monday just a day after the Tour with all the graffiti still on the road. A new climb to many, this is a true Alpine classic.

Trip Summary
