Please arrange to meet us at our hotel in Nice. We are staying at hotel Vendome on bed and breakfast  basis.

You will have the afternoon to unpack, settle in and check your bike is ready for the weekend. Our mechanic will be on hand to help with any issues.

Airport transfers

Included with your Paris-Nice package, we offer airport transfers for you, your luggage, and your bike from Nice airport throughout the morning. If you wish to make use of these then you are required to book your flights in line with our transfer timings.

Please note the transfer time below and please consider these when booking your flights. Please ensure that you arrive in plenty of time ahead of your chosen transfer time.

Our last airport transfer  will depart Nice Airport at 14:00, so please book a flight that lands in Nice before this time. 

Short warm up ride

We plan to get out on the bike this afternoon for a couple of hours before dinner. A social ride local to the hotel.

Today is Paris – Nice Challenge day.

After an early breakfast we will ride to the stage start. There is just one distance and based on last years stage it was 

Today’s ride: 95km. Elevation: 2800m

Paris-Nice traditionally has a final stage that starts and finishes in the capital of the Cote d’Azur. In 2023 Tadej Pogačar launched an attack on the Col d’Èze which was the final climb of the 2023 Paris-Nice and he sealed the overall GC with a victory in Nice on the final stage. He won all three of Paris-Nice’s Mountain stages and the overall victory.

Three options available to catch the pro race:

1. Full day guided cycling trip spotting the pros tackle the climbs without watching the finish in Nice.
2. Leisurely morning in town before going over to the Promenade des Anglais to watch the start and the end of the race from the roadside.

2024 Paris-Nice Hospitality

The start and the finish usually take place on the famous Promenade des Anglais in the centre of Nice. Today you can enjoy two VIP access options; the Village Depart and Finish hospitality. As there’s a short break in proceedings between the Village Depart closing and the Finish Hospitality opening, you can book both together.

Village Depart – £189pp

Get closer to the riders and the signature podium during teams’ presentation and sign-on. On the Promenade des Anglais among the Palm Trees, Nice will host the start of the race. The riders gather each morning at the Paris-Nice Start Village before setting off, along with the sponsors, the guests, and the Organisation Management.

Finish Hospitality – £189pp

Guests, equipped with passes, will have access to the Hospitality Area reserved for the top stars – a superb vantage point along the home straight on the Promenade des Anglais– offering in-suite non-stop catering and open bar service. Plasma TV screens will broadcast the race until the riders come into view live.

We will offer a transfer back to Nice airport today. As it’s just 20 minutes to Nice Airport, our hosts will drop you off at the airport in line with your flight times.
