The worlds most famous sportive followed by three classic days of riding in the Alps culminating with watching the Tour on the Galibier. The trip is in two parts. Starting in Savoie, our team will help set your bikes up and then lead a warm up ride before a pre Etape brief detailing best tips and strategies for the sportive. On the Sunday there will be an early transfer to the start and you will then see us on the course at a private feed station.
For those staying for the week, we have a rest day followed by three of the best rides in the Alps. First up is a ride over the Madeleine, Telegraph & Galibier to our new base in Briancon. Then we head to Alpe d'Huez to take on the Sarenne & Alpe before finishing with the Izoard & Galibier where the trip concludes with beers and a picnic watching the Tour.
There is no feeling quite like finishing the Etape. Ride with people from all over the world, a peloton of 15,000 international riders. This year the sportive replicated the final stage of the Tour and looks like being a tough one!
After the Etape, take a well earned rest day and then we have back to back to back classic Alpine rides taking in the Madeleine, Telegraph, Galibier, Sarenne, Alpe d'Huez and Izoard.
Probably the most famous of all climbs in the Alps, the Galibier is one of the highest passes in Europe and will be decisive in the Tour. We set up base here for beers and a picnic to watch the race go by.
