This tour is designed for your standard weekend warrior that rides a few times a week. Our program is challenging but reasonable with an average daily ride distance of around 60km

Arrive into Adelaide and make your way to the Pullman Hotel Adelaide, our mechanic will be on hand to assist with the assembly of your bike and any fine-tuning.

Todays Stage: Hahn Men’s Stage 4: Murray Bridge – Port Elliot

Today’s Ride – 104 km | 1190m Climbing
Meals Included: Breakfast, Picnic Lunch
We will be out on the bikes early this morning departing the hotel riding to the stunning coastal town of Port Elliot. Throw a change of clothes in our vehicle before a longer ride out enjoying the scenic route through the Adelaide hills. We will arrive in Port Elliot with our transfer vehicle to meet us on location. There will be time to get changed into leisure clothes before settling in to enjoy some lunch and the end of today’s stage. We’ll load up bikes and hop onto our vehicle for the drive back into town. Take an evening to enjoy some more of Adelaide and enjoy the atmosphere of the city as the excitement of the race takes over the town.

Today’s Stage: THINK! Road Safety Men’s Stage 5: Christies Beach – Willunga Hill

For everyone with the legs to hop on the bike again after breakfast we will depart early to make the pilgrimage out to Willunga hill. Enjoy a morning rolling along the spectacular coastline and through one of South Australia’s famous wine regions of McLaren Vale. One final climb will take you up the famous Willunga Hill to our Marquee set up for prime-viewing of the stage finale.
Anyone choosing not to ride will be transported from the hotel to the top of the hill to make a short walk down to the Sportive Breaks marquee.

Todays Stage: Men’s Stage 6: Unley – Mount Lofty
Highlights :

Today’s Ride –
Meals Included: Breakfast, Picnic Lunch
This morning we will assist you in packaging up your bike before transferring by vehicle to Mount Lofty where we will enjoy our roadside Marquee including refreshments. Post race will drop you back to the hotel in time for your return flight home.
We will have all hands on deck this morning to assist you in packaging up your bike for a flight back.
NOTE: If you are departing on Sunday, before we leave for today’s stage you will need to check out of the hotel, your baggage will be stored in a secure location.
Please ensure your return flight home departs no earlier than 7pm.

The Santos Tour Down Under women’s race will return for it’s second year as a Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) Women’s World Tour event. The men’s race remains one of the first testing grounds of the year for some of the world’s best racers on the world tour. Join our local team as we witness riders compete for the Ochre Jersey
We will follow both the female and male races as part of our experiences, giving guest the opportunity to ride sections of the race route and to get up close to the riders.
