Guided Warm Up Ride

This afternoon Andrea will offer an optional guided bike ride in this beautiful area. The hotel’s proximity to the lake offers a great opportunity to discover the area by bike.

Later this evening we will gather for dinner together at the hotel restaurant. After dinner you are free to head into town to explore.

Join us on a guided and supported ride in the area. Our hotel is located on the shores of Lake Garda. This is a beautiful part of Italy with lots of great roads to explore.

We offer a warm up ride along the lake with a coffee break in Peschiera del Garda and return to the hotel.

To end the day we invite you to explore the hotel and its surroundings. This is a beautiful area with lots to explore.

It’s our first encounter with LIVE Giro action today. We offer a guided ride to Desenzano del Garda from our hotel.

Once there, we will have a great experience for both cyclists and spectators. Our status as official Giro d’Italia Tour Operator gives us access to official Giro Hospitality.

Finish hospitality offers a superb vantage point along the finish straight. Non-stop catering and open bar service are included. Plasma TV screens broadcast the race until the riders come into view live.

After the stage we will head back to the hotel for dinner.

Early start this morning as we leave Garda for the next stop on our tour; Bormio. The transfer will take about 3.5 hours.

The stage finish is in Livigno today, located 22 miles from Bormio.

Depending on the weather we offer two options today:

  1. Transfer to Aprica for two hours then ride to Livigno where we wait for the arrival of the riders
  2. Ride from Bormio to Tirano and Passo Foscagno to Livigno

After the stage finish we will take you to our hotel in Bormio where we will stay one night.

As the riders enjoy their rest day in Livigno, we will ride the famous Passo Stelvio today. We will ride from Bormio to Merano and then transfer to Badia.

We expect to get to the hotel just before dinner.

After breakfast we guide you around one of Europe’s most beautiful routes. We will ride the Sella Ronda Loop to the finish line of today’s Giro stage in Cristina di Val Gardena.

Cross the Finish Experience

Feel like a pro for the day and cross under the official finish line of an actual Giro stage. We will guide you over the final miles of the stage and you will cross under the finish line before we take photos on the winner’s podium.

After the stage we will transfer to the next hotel on our tour in Feltre. Here we stay on a bed and breakfast basis to allow you to eat out the next couple of nights.

Today we will enjoy the start of the Giro in Fiera di Primiero from the Start Village.

Every day, in the start town, the Start Village offers a VIP Area at the start. Guests watch the riders get ready and witness the sign-on ceremony while enjoying drinks and snacks.

Our daily ride will take us from Feltre to Fiera di Primiero and back.

This evening you are free to go out for dinner.

Ride from Feltre to Bassano del Grappa. There is an amazing bike path along the valley. We will then ride the Foza Climb, ride on the Asiago plateau, and down to Bassano for a typical spritz on the Alpini bridge.

Decisive stage of the Giro if there are close gaps in the GC. After a rather flat approach featuring the Muro di Ca’ del Poggio, the riders will climb the Monte Grappa twice, both from the Semonzo side. After the second descent, the race continues straight to the finish.

We will ride Monte Grappa today ahead of the riders and enjoy watching the decisive stage of the 2024 Giro d’Italia from the roadside. We are close to Andrea’s home today so we will have a party to celebrate the days we have spent together on our Giro tour.

In the evening, we’ll enjoy our final dinner together. Our team is available to assist you with packing bikes away for travel tomorrow.

Dolomites Decider

The 2024 Giro d’Italia will most likely be decided in the Dolomites. We expect a spectacular and eventful, final week. Stage 15 to Livigno is the longest of the 2024 Giro d’Italia. Starting at Lake Garda, the route will lead riders into the Swiss Alps and finish with a high altitude climb in Livigno – the Mottolino. We will ride the Stelvio on the rest day before we watch the riders tackle the climb on stage 16 the day after. Stage 17 sees a double ascent of the Brocon Pass. After two easier days, the penultimate stage features a double ascent of Monte Grappa, before a downhill and finish in the valley. Monte Grappa is very difficult at 18.2km and 8.1%. The riders will climb and descend the way they came up before climbing again. Monte Grappa will be the deciding stage in the battle for the pink jersey.

Our Final 11-Day Tour

Join us a couple of days before the final rest day of the 2024 Giro d’Italia and be part of our tour that takes in the final stages of the Italian Grand Tour. Our tour is designed by Giro d’Italia stage winner Andrea Ferrigato who will also be your lead guide for the tour. Andrea and his team of local drivers, mechanics and cycling guides will show you all the best parts of the Italian Alps and Dolomites.
