Is This Trip For Me?
Explore some of the cycling world’s best kept secrets in stunning Switzerland. Suitable for riders that love climbing, this weekender takes in three rides over remote passes and classic climbs including San Gotthard, Furka Pass & the legendary Grosse Scheidegg. Three nights in the ski resort of Andermatt & a night on the lake in Interlaken, this is an unmissable weekend for anyone looking to ride some of the world’s best climbs.
Ride the road from Goldfinger: Our first and last climb of the weekend is the Furka pass, one of the iconic climbs in the region with a hotel perched in a hairpin corner, amazing views and the scene of Bond driving his DB5 in Goldfinger.
Climb the stunning Gotthard Pass: On the shortlist for best climb in the world, the Gotthard Pass has everything - stunning views, very little traffic, variety, switchbacks galore and some cobbled corners. Our final climb on day one.
Escape the cars on the legendary Grosse Scheidegg: Day two ends on the beautiful Grosse Scheidegg, another contender for worlds best climb. It is long, relatively tough and beautifully wild with some great views of the Eiger.

Switzerland Weekender Cycling Holiday
A stunning cycling weekend in the heart of the Swiss Alps. We arrive on Wednesday and have a short warm up ride before three big rides on Thursday, Friday & Saturday. All of the riding is up or down so suitable for riders that love climbing, and these climbs are very easy to love! Across the three main rides we go over the Furka Pass, Nufenen, Gotthard, Susten, Grimsel & Grosse Scheidegg. These are mostly long & wild climbs with very little traffic & amazing Alpine views. The first two nights are in the ski resort of Andermatt before riding to Interlaken on the third night before heading back to Andermatt. On our small group tours we have a road guide at the front of the group and support vehicle at the back with regular feed stops. We ride together on the flats and climb at our own pace, regrouping at the top. We typically get back to our hotel by mid afternoon for a couple of post ride drinks before dinner together.
