Tour Series Hospitality Cycling Holiday

The Sportsbreaks.com Tour Series are back! Britain’s leading televised cycle race series returns for its 13th edition in 2022 and the country’s leading domestic squads will all be in action. A successful title defence would see Ribble Weldtite Pro Cycling become the third men’s team in succession to win back-to-back crowns, while CAMS – Basso will seek to become the second teams in women’s history to win three-consecutive titles. Reigning champions Ribble Weldtite Pro Cycling and CAMS – Basso, former winners WiV SunGod, and fledgling New Zealand team Global 6 Cycling will be among the 26 teams competing in this year’s Tour Series.

Round Seven – Grand Final in Manchester : Manchester

One Hour + 5 laps - Women’s start 5pm, Men 7.30pm This year’s Sportsbreaks.com Tour Series will finish with a spectacular Grand Final in Manchester on Tuesday 24 May. The historic northern city will be where the men’s and women’s champions of the event, which is now in its 13th year, will be crowned on Tuesday 24 May. This new-for-2022 round will take place on a one-kilometre circuit centred around the world-famous Deansgate, with the start/finish line located adjacent to the Great Northern leisure complex. The Grand Final will further add to Manchester’s connections with cycling. As well as being the home of British Cycling, the national governing body, the city memorably hosted the finale of the Tour of Britain in 2019. Supported by Manchester-based specialist sports travel operator Sportsbreaks.com, the Grand Final will also be used as a showcase for future editions of the series, with organisers SweetSpot inviting prospective host venues to attend with a view to taking the 2023 Tour Series into other major city centres across the UK.
