Meet the Team

Local Guide

A racer in the off season, a guide in the main season and an absolute beast on the bike. Miquel loves to show people round his island and is equally happy supporting people struggling up a climb and smashing it on the front with a quick group. He is highly skilled at blocking the wind on coastal roads - a great quality at the end of a long day!

Lucky enough to live in Mallorca in winter / spring, Phil is the van driver and chief ensaimada taster. He loves finding the best spots for feed stations and joining the peloton on the short coffee spins. Home is in the rural middle of the island but the mountains are where his heart is and he is at his happiest cheering people up the Col de Soller & Puig Randa.

Routes Details

Route Overview

We offer 4 & 7 night breaks to Mallorca. We ride a mix of mountain and flatter routes taking in classic climbs and lesser known local routes. We ride in small groups together on the flat and climb at our own pace. Routes can change depending on the group but always include the coast to coast, Sa Calobra, Cap Formentor & a ride into the middle of the island.

Stage One - Stage Two

Stage One

From Port de Pollensa to Port de Pollensa

Ride Distance 99km
Elevation Gain 686m

An easier day exploring the quiet lanes and countryside of the middle of Mallorca. This is a chance to see a different side of the island, away from the tourists. The villages in the middle are sleepy and traditional with a very slow paced life. We ride through quiet lanes and past the famous market town of Sineu before heading back through the popular coffee and cake spot of Petra and home along the coast from Alcudia.

Stage Two

From Port de Pollensa to Port de Pollensa

Ride Distance 130km
Elevation Gain 2721m

The most famous climb on the island is the stunning Sa Calobra. To get there, we head up the Coll de Femenia, a great morning climb. We then ride on a ridge with great sea views before the descent of Sa Calobra - quick and amazingly fun. The climb is the toughest on the island with steady 7 & 8% gradients getting us back to a coffee stop at the top. We come back through a different descent home.

Climbs at Mallorca

Sa Calobra

The toughest climb on Mallorca. Sa Calobra is a one way down and up road to the beach. This is best ridden early or late (both in the season & in the day) as it can be busy with tourist coaches. The climb is steady with a 7% gradient most of the way up so you can find a rhythm and spin to the top where you are rewarded with great orange juice and cake!

Ride Distance 9.5km
Elevation Gain 7%
KOM  24 mins 54 secs

Puig Major (Soller)

The longest climb on the island. Out of Soller you climb with big valley views below you on gentle gradients of between 5 & 7%. In the middle of the climb there is a flatter section before it kicks up a bit again at the end. The road winds up the mountain all the way until you reach the tunnel and great views to both sides. The tunnel is lit but you might want to bring lights for this short section for extra visability for motorists.

Ride Distance 14km
Elevation Gain 6%
KOM  33 mins 12 secs

Mallorca Cycling Itinerary

We run 4 night (Wed to Sun) and 7 night (Sun to Sun) trips every week from March to April. Our basic itinerary is the same every week mixing classic climbs with lesser known local routes - all led by our English speaking, Mallorcan guides. We change things round slightly based on the group and can accommodate all types of riders from racers to first timers.

Day One Sunday

Coffee Spin

Our mechanic is at the hotel to help build bikes and to fit rentals. For those that want a coffee spin, we run a 40km spin through Pollensa, Sa Pobla and home along the coast.

Ride Distance 40 km.
Elevation Gain 500 m.

Day Two Monday

Sineu & Petra

Getting our legs ready for the week we have a fun spin inland to Sineu and have a race on the outdoor velodrome before heading to Petra for coffee & cake. Nothing too tricky but building up for some longer days.

Ride Distance 85 km.
Elevation Gain 750 m.

Day Three

Soller / Puig Major

Into the mountains for the first time. We ride over the Col d'Honor and then the Col de Soller before taking on the longest climb on the island - Puig Major. Three of the best climbs in Mallorca.

Ride Distance 115 km.
Elevation Gain 2000 m.

Day Four Wednesday

Lluc Loop

A slightly easier day taking in one fun climb and one great descent. We stay close to Pollensa all day climbing up to Lluc and riding one of the quickest descents all the way home. We finish around lunch for a relaxing day.

Ride Distance 66 km.
Elevation Gain 1000 m.

Day Five Thursday

Puig Randa

The first ride for the 4 nighters. We head into the middle of the island to the classic climb of Puig Randa. We roll through sleepy villages and have lunch in Randa before taking on the climb with views of the whole island.

Ride Distance 99 km.
Elevation Gain 686 m.

Day Six Friday

Andratx to Port de Pollensa

The Queen Stage. One of the world's best one day rides following the Ma-10 all the way from Andratx to Port de Pollensa over four main climbs.

Ride Distance 130 km.
Elevation Gain 2721 m.

Day Seven Saturday

Sa Calobra

Two options on this day. For the quick group, the biggest and hardest climb on the island. We save Sa Calobra until last. After one climb we take the coast road all the way to this climb. From the top, it is downhill almost the whole way home. For everyone else, we climb up to Lluc, have a coffee and then descend via Selva before riding home through the lanes.

Ride Distance 115 km.
Elevation Gain 2964 m.

Day Eight Sunday

Cap Formentor

Before we leave, an early morning spin to the cafe at Cap Formentor. A classic Mallorcan route on rolling terrain with some spectacular scenery.

Ride Distance 40 km.
Elevation Gain 1300 m.
