Classic cycling weekends. Ride the sportive one day, watch the pros the other.
These events are typically smaller than the Monuments with a more local peloton. This gives the weekend a different flavour and gives you more of a chance to delve into the local culture.
Most of these are early in the season in spring. We start the season in beautiful Siena for the unique Strade Bianche, a glorious pro race and sportive with some famous gravel sectors and a punchy finish into the town square in Siena. Next week is Paris Nice, the culmination of a week of racing for the pros but just a day for us. Then we head to Flanders to Gent Wevelgem, a must ride sportive featuring headwinds, gravel, cobbles and an 18% climb (the Kemmelberg). These are all nicely small and friendly events and make for great weekends.
The first classic pro race & Granfondo of the season on the famous white roads of Tuscany. Take on the gravel with a killer finish into stunning Siena.

The race to the sun marks the end of winter and the start of the spring cycling season. Join us in Nice for between 2 & 3 nights with warm up rides, extra support on the sportive and watch the final stage of the pro race.

One of our favourite sportives of the year and an event that experienced sportive riders love to come back to every year. The event is much smaller than the Tour of Flanders and most of the peloton are locals. The route is mostly flat over exposed lowlands of Western Flanders. The route goes past many WW1 battlefields & cemeteries with some sections on the unpaved Plugstreets close to the trenches. The main climb in the race is the very steep Kemmelberg but by far the biggest challenge is the fight against headwinds.
