The Haute Route Pyrenees is a classic 7 stage race over the most iconic climbs in the region. Starting and ending in Pau, the route will be announced soon but will include 6 mountainous stages and a mountain time trial. Likely to include the Tourmalet, Aubisque, Aspin & more.
Join our small, social team of like minded riders. You will be expertly supported by our team of mechanics who will keep your bikes in perfect order and our DS who will run through route briefs each evening with tips for the stage. We will have private feed stops with a bag drop service on each stage and we stay close to the race village each evening. We have been proud partners of the Haute Route for many years and know exactly what you need to ride the Haute Route at your best.

Arrival day in Toulouse, transfer to Pau and register at the race village.

Right in the centre of Pau, we stay in the Hotel le Bourbon. With good room for bike box storage, a hearty breakfast including porridge and lots of your doorstep including Pau old town and the race village, this is an ideal base for the Haute Route Pyrenees
We will have a range of rental bikes available for the Haute Route Pyrenees.

Choose the Route
The race starts and finishes in Pau. Fly into Toulouse, transfers leave at 12pm on 29th August so book a flight that gets into Toulouse before 11.30am. This allows us plenty of time to register for the race in Pau.
For your flight home, our transfer gets to Toulouse at 3pm so book a flight that leaves after 5pm on 6th Sept.
You will collect a large soft case bag with your race pack at registration. You need to pack your luggage into your own soft case which then goes into the larger case. We move your bags from each hotel every day.
We have a laundry service every other day.
The stages start early (typically at 7am with breakfast from 5am) with a neutralised section before the race breaks up on the first climb. We have a private feed stop in each section and there is also Mavic support and an army of volunteers to marshall the roads.
8 nights arriving the day of registration in Pau. Choose between a private single room, a twin or double room if you are booking for two people (can be a rider or non-rider) or a shared twin if you are happy to be paired with one of our other riders.
