Italy Coast to Coast 300

A new type of sportive. Combining the best support from big sportives with mechanical vans, regular toilet & feed stations, well signed routes and race villages with the friendly atmosphere of a small tour with ride leaders in each speed group and guided warm up rides.
The Italy Coast to Coast 300 starts in Cesenatico on the Adriatic. The route heads out into the hills and over into Tuscany before finishing on the coast near Livorno in Tuscany. The route alternates between hilly and flatter over the 300km with the highest point of 1,165m on the Emilia Romagna / Tuscany border.
On the Friday we have a short warm up ride to make sure bikes and legs are working fine before the big ride. Our team are on hand all weekend to work on bikes and help make sure you have everything you need to ride at your best.

Sportive Weekend Highlights

Sportive Weekend Highlights

  • Start by the beach at Sunrise

This epic ride should take between 11 & 14 hours meaning an early start is required. We start on the beach in Cesenatico seeing the sun ride before heading out of town on empty roads into the hills.

  • Ride in the friendliest peloton on the road

We have various speed group options if you want to ride with other people, all led by our expert guides. Chat with like minded riders and share the work over the flatter miles, then celebrate together at the finish.

  • Ride past stunning Tuscan hilltop towns

The route takes you through Chianti and past some of the most stunning towns in Tuscany including Volterra. The riding here is punchy, up or down for around 75km but the scenery makes it all worthwhile!

The Italy Coast to Coast 300 starts on the beach in Emilia Romagna and finishes on the beach in Tuscany. In between is 300km of breathtaking riding through the beautiful middle of Italy over the hills famed by the Nove Colli and into Chianti before a sprint to the coast.
