Stelvio Triple Crown Sportive

The most epic one day route in the Italian Alps and the only sportive taking in all of the BIG THREE. This sportive weekend includes a warm up ride on Thursday, the big ride on the Friday and options to ride the Stelvio again traffic free on Saturday or a relaxing day in the famous spa. The sportive sets off at 7.30am so you can ride the first two climbs in the morning, the first riders should be done by early afternoon and the last guys rolling to the Cima Coppi mid afternoon. The sportive comes with pro support with expert mechanics working on bikes before and on course. We have guide led speed groups if you want to ride with others and be paced, this can be really useful on the road to the Mortirolo and the long drag to the Gavia. There is coaching advice from Rowe & King and the team at OTE Sports are on hand to help with a personal nutrition plan for the ride and are manning the regular feed stops. Your job - smash the hardest ride in the Italian Alps 👊👊.

Sportive Weekend Highlights

Sportive Weekend Highlights

  • Finish a sportive on the Stelvio

The most famous climb in cycling awaits you at the end of the sportive. 22km, 7% and some unbelievable views await. After taking in the views and grabbing your jacket at the top, the day finishes with a thrilling 22km descent back to the hotel and a well deserved beer.

  • Smash the Mortirolo

The first climb of the sportive is the Mortirolo from the classic Mazzo side. 12km in length and averaging a punishing 11%, this is one of the toughest climbs out there. After the Pantani monument the road opens out and the gradients get slightly easier allowing you to summit with a smile on your face!

  • Warm up ride on the Cancano

A stunning short climb out of Bormio, we ride the Cancano on arrival day. This year it is a stage finish on the Giro and the grafitti will still be on the road for our ride.
