Is This Trip For Me?
The start of April is when the cycling world properly awakens from its winter slumber. There are all sorts of races taking place virtually daily across Northern France, Belgium and the Netherlands over this crucial period in the racing calendar, but two giant events stand out above all others.
Both events have their own amateur cycling events taking place the day before on Saturdays. Amateur riders from all over the world come and test themselves on the same roads as the professionals the day after. Each Sportive offers a variety of distances from (nearly) full distance challenges to shorter trips over the cobbles and bergs of Flanders and Roubaix.
Spend 10 days with us in Flanders and Roubaix on the ultimate spring classics cycling tour. Our team of local riders and mechanics will guide you around their home roads for an unforgettable experience. Not only will the cyclists in the group be well-looked after there is also plenty to do for those who don’t ride a bike themselves but are fans of this great sport.
Ride 2 Sportives: Start with We Ride Flanders and finish with the Paris Roubaix Challenge. Distance options are available and transport is included for the long distance options if you choose those.
Watch 3 Spring Classics: Watch two of the Monuments of Cycling; Tour of Flanders and Paris Roubaix and we'll also make a mid-week stop in Schoten near Antwerp for the Scheldeprijs.
Fully supported tour: Our team of local hosts, drivers and mechanics look after you with all in-resort transport and support on guided rides. We also take a break from the cycling with several visits and trips like a beer brewery visit, museum visits plus city visits to Antwerp and Ypres. Bike rental is also available at a supplement.
Well-located hotels: Stay in Oudenaarde, the best place to stay for the Tour of Flanders before moving to Roubaix. Breakfasts and evening meals are included.

Spring Classics Tour - Flanders and Roubaix Cycling Holiday
The first Sunday of April is the date of the Tour of Flanders. The Ronde van Vlaanderen is Belgium’s biggest sporting event, boasting enormous television audiences and thronged roadsides. A week later, it’s the turn of the Queen of the Classics, Paris – Roubaix. Usually described as the world’s most famous one-day race, the “Hell of the North” has captured the public’s imagination for 120 years. The images of gaunt faces streaked with mud span the decades with a timeless quality that belongs indisputably and uniquely to Roubaix.
De Ham 14, 9700 Oudenaarde, Belgium
The Leopold is our favourite base for the Tour of Flanders weekend. A smart, modern hotel in Oudenaarde, close to the train station and the start and finish line, it's perfect for soaking up the buzz of Belgium's biggest sporting weekend. Delicious Belgian dishes are served in the hotel’s restaurant “Bar Del Mundo”. Besides the great food, the bar also offers a great selection of cocktails and fine wines. Check-in from 3 PM & check-out until 11 AM
Mercure Lille Roubaix Grand Hotel
The Mercure is the Tripadvisor #1 hotel in Roubaix (June 2020). Close to the town centre with parking available close by. Rooms are modern and comfortable.
Airport collections are from Brussels (BRU) and the drive to Oudenaarde takes just over an hour.
