Our 2025 11 Day Giro d’Italia tour will start just outside Bassano del Grappa in Italy. This 11-day tour will give you the opportunity to watch the race live on the road along with the experience of VIP Hospitality.

Transfer from MXP to Nove
Meet your tour guides at Milan Malpensa Airport and get your tour off to a relaxed start.
Our Head Guide, Giro d’Italia stage winner Andrea Ferrigato, and the Sportive Breaks team will be at the airport awaiting your arrival. Our transfer will leave at 12:00pm. Please ensure you arrive in plenty of time before our departure time. This transfer will take around 3 hours.
Bikes
If you are travelling with your own bike, then we will transport your bike and bike box or bag for the duration of the tour, meaning when we move hotels, there’s no need to re-pack your bike. Alternatively, we also offer bike rental for the duration of the tour. Bikes can be stored at the hotel.
This afternoon and early evening, our tour leaders and bike mechanics are available to help you.
Guided shake-out ride
This afternoon our Head Guide Andrea will take you on an optional shake out ride around the beautiful town of Nove, just outside of Bassano del Grappa.
Later this evening we will gather for an evening welcome meal together at the hotel restaurant. After dinner you are free to relax in the hotel or explore the nearby sites.

Vincenza
Today is Stage 13 of the Giro d’Italia, where the pro’s will be riding from Rovigo to Vincenza.
Today we will go for a ride in the Berici Hills (‘Colli Berici’), involving a ride of around 90km, where we will join the final race route and ride across the finish line. There you will get the chance to take photos and enjoy the Official Hospitality included.
Tonight, we remain in Nove where we will have dinner back at the hotel.

Treviso
Today is Stage 14 of the Giro d’Italia, with the pro’s riding from Treviso to Nova Gorica/Gorizia.
We start today with a transfer to Treviso where you can experience the start line hospitality included in today’s itinerary. After the hospitality we will do an 80km ride this afternoon taking in the famous Monte Grappa which will take our total elevation gain to around 2,500m.
Tonight, we remain in Nove where we will have dinner back at the hotel.

Vincenza
Today is Stage 15 of the Giro d’Italia and the pro’s will ride from Fiume Veneto to Asiago.
Todays guided ride will be around 80km and take in the Foza climb, which is around 14km and nearly 1,000m of elevation gain at an average gradient of 6%. You will get the chance to watch the Giro on the roadside today in Foza around 10km before the finish line.
Tonight, we remain in Nove where we will have dinner back at the hotel.

Trento
Today the Giro d’Italia has one of its two rest days.
There will be no rest day for us however as we will be running a guided and supported ride from Nove to Trento! This ride is around 90km and will be directly to our hotel tonight which is in the centre of the historical city of Trento.
Once we have arrived you will have the chance to enjoy Trento for all it offers and are free to explore the city. Our hotel is booked on a bed and breakfast basis and is a short walk to the city centre where there are a range of different restaurants.
Today we will ride to our next destination, this guided ride will be around 90km before we arrive at our next hotel!

Dolomites or Trento
Today is Stage 16 of the Giro d’Italia and the pro’s will be riding from Piazzola Sul Brenta to San Valentino.
Today we ride the Sella Ronda! This ride will be around 50km. Spectators can join us in the support vehicle today and enjoy the beautiful Dolomites scenery. Alternatively, the Giro passes through Trento today, so guests are welcome to stay in Trento to watch the race pass through, giving you the opportunity to relax and have a well earned day off the bike.
Tonight, we remain in Trento where you are welcome to enjoy the city and all it offers. Our hotel is booked on a bed and breakfast basis.
Guided ride in the Dolomites, experience the famous Sella Ronda. This ride is around 50km of challenging terrain but offers beautiful scenery along the way

Aprica and Desenzano del Garda
Today is Stage 17 of the Giro d’Italia, the pro’s will be riding from San Michele to Bormio.
We start today with a transfer to Aprica. We will then start our guided ride where we will ride the Mortirolo, you can take this iconic climb at your own pace as we will regroup at the top and enjoy the live viewing of todays race as it passes by.
After the guided ride we will be heading to Desenzano del Garda where we will spend the night.
Our hotel tonight is on half-board basis, after dinner you are free to go out and see the beauty of Lake Garda or make use of the spa within the hotel (at an additional cost).
Guided ride up the famous Mortirolo pass – this tough climb isn’t the longest but has some steep gradients with 1,000m+ of elevation. The Mortirolo has featured 7 times at the Giro d’italia with the first being in 1990

Turin
Today is Stage 18 of the Giro d’Italia, the pro’s will be riding from Morbegno to Cesano Maderno.
The stage the pro’s will take on today is known as a transitional stage, with less climbing and a more intense focus on the sprinters’ performance. On our way to Turin, we will attempt to catch the Giro on the road as it heads north of Milan.
Tonight, our hotel is on half-board basis, so you are welcome to enjoy a meal at the hotel and then explore Turin if you wish.

Champoluc
Today is Stage 19 of the Giro d’Italia; the pro’s will be riding from Biella to Champoluc.
Our plan for today is to ride part of the Giro stage to its end point in Champoluc. We will take a transfer to the start of today’s guided ride and along our way we will stop and watch the stage go past before continuing. Today is a challenging day for the riders, which will hopefully make for some great spectating!
Tonight, we remain in Turin where we will have dinner back at the hotel.
Guided ride on the same route as today’s stage, you’ll get the chance to watch the pro’s roadside in what could be the final decider in the 108th edition of the Giro d’Italia

Pinerolo to Sestriere
Today is Stage 20 of the Giro d’Italia, the pro’s will be riding from Verres to Sestriere (Via Lattea)
We are getting closer to the end of the 2025 Giro d’Italia – today we will take a transfer to Pinerolo where we will ride around 60km, finishing in Sestriere. You will get the chance to enjoy the top-level experience at the finish area where you will be in the closest section to the finish line and podium. After you’ve enjoyed the hospitality, we will take a transfer back to Turin.
Tonight, we remain in Turin where we will have dinner back at the hotel.
Our guided ride today starts in Pinerolo, we’ll head north west towards the Giro state finish in Sestriere; our ride will be around 60km with some challenging terrain

Milan Malpensa Airport or Rome
Today is the final stage of the 2025 Giro d’Italia. The pro’s will start and finish in Rome.
As we bid you farewell, we will offer airport transfers to Milan Malpensa or a transfer to Turin Railway Station.
We offer a Rome extension. This is not supported by staff but is available to book through us where we can offer a hotel for one night and a train ticket from Turin Railway Station.
Stage 21 in Rome
The 2025 Giro d’Italia winner will be crowned after a sprint stage on the uncomfortable roads of Rome. The setting could not be more iconic with the Fori Imperiali ruins and the Colosseum as a backdrop.
Breakfast
We offer nine guided rides on this tour. Your guide for this tour is Giro d’Italia stage winner Andrea Ferrigato, who will be assisted by a support vehicle with driver who is also a mechanic. We will either transport everyone to a location from where we will start the daily rides, or we will ride straight out from the hotel. We offer vehicle support for the riders and the spectators will be transported to the day’s hospitality venue or to a vantage point to watch the race.
On days where we move on to another hotel, we will transport luggage, bike boxes and bikes, with the itinerary adapted depending on the day’s logistics.
Riders and spectators are reunited to enjoy the hospitality and VIP experiences together. We attempt to keep hotel changes and transfers to a minimum.
Our tour starts either at Milan Malpensa Airport, utilising our airport transfers or you are welcome to make your way to our hotel in Nove if you are flying into Venice.
On departure we provide transport to Milan Malpensa Airport where you are free to make your way home. If you are booking on to our Rome Extension you are free to utilise this transfer but can also take a train to Rome from Turin.
Our tour is suitable for both cyclists of any level and non-cycling spectators. The hotels we stay at are in excellent locations with the world-renowned Italian cuisine we all enjoy so much. NH Torino Congress is set in the former FIAT car factory, redesigned by architect Renzo Piano. It features a rooftop jogging track, free Wi-Fi throughout, and is connected to Turin’s Lingotto Convention Centre. The Lingotto, a unique building and landmark of Turin, is home to the Pinacoteca Giovanni e Marella Agnelli Art Gallery, a concert hall, shopping mall and multiplex cinema. Enrico Pengo was born in Vicenza in May 1972. He was a mechanic in the professional teams of Zg Mobili (93-94-95), Gewiss (96), Batik (97), Ballan (98-99) and Lampre (from 2000 to 2016); Bahrain-Merida, 2017 to 2020.
He has been the mech on 20 Tour de France, 25 Giro D’Italia and 10 World Championships with national teams. You’re in very safe hands.
He is considered a legend in Italy. His nickname is “the Mitico” which we think means he is mythical.
Tommaso “Tommy” is a former Italian cyclist who participated in the youth Olympics for Italy. Following his time racing he decided to dedicate himself to working as a mechanic to stay involved in the world of cycling. In just a short time he progressed through the ranks and became a mechanic for the Italian national MTB team as well as for some under 23 teams. He credits his success to his teacher and mentor, Enrico Pengo aka “The Legend”.
Andrea Ferrigato is affectionately known by his former teammates and friends as “Ferri” for his legs of “Steel”. Ferri has had a professional career spanning 15 years. He competed 8 times at the Giro d’Italia and 4 times at the Tour de France. He was a stage winner of the Giro d’Italia (1994) and his best year was 1996. In that year he won the Leeds International Classic and the Grand Prix of Switzerland.
Andrea is an extremely experienced host and he has worked with Sportive Breaks since 2022. In the last few years Andrea has hosted many cycling tours and Gran Fondo weekends for Sportive Breaks. He received truly excellent customer feedback.
