The 2025 Haute Route Alps starts on Sunday August 24th in Megeve, and finishes on Saturday August 30th in Nice, after 7 days of Alpine riding.
Haute Route Alps is a tough but rewarding 7 – day sportive, that will give you a taste of the life of a professional cyclist in a stage race. The route takes you to some of the toughest and most iconic climbs in the Alps. The event consists of 6 multi-mountain stages & an uphill time trial. Haute Route support is unparalleled and and the entry includes many services. You will live and compete like a Pro cyclist for a week.
One of the toughest weeks in amateur cycling, the Haute Route Alps is the flagship event of the Haute Route Cycling Series. This is a week of cycling bucket list climbs made famous by the Tour de France and the Giro d’Italia. Much of it is spent at altitude with several cols over 2,000 meters/6,500ft above sea level.
The 2025 Haute Route Alps will take place between Sunday August 24th and Saturday August 30th. Our 8-night package starts on Saturday August 25th and finishes on Sunday August 31st.
The 2025 Haute Route Alps will start in Megeve and finish in Nice, across seven stages, including a final day Time Trial.
You will take on some world famous cycling climbs, such as the mighty Col du Galibier, Col d’Iseran, Col d’Izoard and Col d’Eze. You will also discover some lesser-known but equally challenging and spectacular climbs, including the Col d’Agnel, Col de l’Epine and Col de la Lombard. The final day, Stage 7, will be a Time Trial local to Nice, including the Col d’Eze.

Stage 2 – Megève – Tignes (Col des Saisies, Cormet de Roselend)
Stage 3 – Tignes – Serre Chevalier Valley (Col d’Iseran, Col du Telegraphe, Col du Galibier)
Stage 4: Briancon– Briancon (Col d’Izoard)
Stage 5 – Briancon – Cuneo (Col d’Izoard, Col d’Agnel)
Stage 6 – Cuneo – Nice (Col de la Lombard, Col de la Colmiane, Col de Saint Martin)
Stage 7: Nice – Nice (Col d’Eze)
Our 2025 Haute Route Alps package is limited to 15 riders. We offer a non-rider discount of $2,150 to non-riders and to those riders who already have their own Haute Route entry.
Well located hotels: A mix of 2*, 3* and 4* hotels in convenient locations. We prioritize location over luxury. Breakfasts included. You are free to make your own arrangements for dinner each night.

Travel to Megeve
Please make your own arrangements to arrive at our hotel in Megeve today. Our team will be available to meet you at the hotel. If you plan to fly then we offer a airport transfer for you, your luggage and your bike from Geneva Airport at 12:00.
Our hotel
We are staying at the hotel TBC. Your stay will be for 2 nights on a bed and breakfast basis so with breakfasts included. You will have an early breakfast on the days of stage 1 & 2. You can keep your bike in your room with you.
What about my bike?
You can bring your own bike as we have made arrangements to transport bike boxes on our airport transfers. Our mechanic will be available this afternoon at the hotel to assist you with building your bike after travel.
This afternoon and early evening, our tour leaders and bike mechanics are available for you. The evening is free for you to eat out in one of Megeve’s many restaurants.

After the finish of today’s stage, enjoy a post-race massage and meal before descending back to our hotel.

Breakfast is provided today, before you make your way to the Time Trial start line. Your start time will normally be confirmed on Friday evening.
After the finish, ride back to the hotel. There’s time to book a massage, pack your bike away and relax. Tonight we will toast our achievements at the Haute Route closing ceremony.
After breakfast we offer our a optional transfer back to Nice airport. We advise you not to book any flights before 10:00 as it will be a very early start. Our airport transfer will leave our hotel at 09:30 in time for flights that depart Nice Airport after 12:00.
