De Brabantse Pijl takes place in the area south of Brussels, across the regions of Wallonia and Flanders. In 2025 the race started in Beersel and covered 162.6km, finishing in Overijse with three loops around a 20km circuit. It marks the shift in racing from the cobbles to the Ardennes and gives riders a mix of testing Ardennes climbs while still offering challenging cobbled sections. Despite not being classified as a World Tour event, top level riders still take part to hone their form.

The Ardennes Classics are a series of cycling races that take place each year in the same order in the Belgian Ardennes and south Limburg in the Netherlands.

The Ardennes Classics include the below events:

• Amstel Gold Race takes place on Sunday
• La Fleche Wallonne takes place on Wednesday
• Liege-Bastogne-Liege is a cycling monument and takes place on Sunday

2025 De Brabantse Pijl

The 2025 event took place on Friday 18th April. Team Visma | Lease a Bike’s Wout Van Aert formed a breakaway with Olympic Champion Remco Evenepoel and others at 55km to go. They formed a duo in the final lap of the closing circuit and went head to head in a sprint to the line. Van Aert finished in 2nd place in the hard fought sprint. 

After booking you will be contacted by Sportive Breaks with the details of the meeting point for the day. This is most likely the official Team Hotel (exceptions to this may apply and this cannot be guaranteed). This will be the collection point and can also be the drop off point at the end of the day (can be discussed based on your needs).

You will be met by your host and driver for the day who is a former Professional Cyclist who speaks English. You will spend the day as a guest of the team in an official TVL minibus equipped with route map and interior TV screens so we can watch the race live during the day.

On our way to the stage start we will visit the hotel where the team are staying. Here one of the team directors will give you the inside track on the team’s race tactics for the day. After this we make our way to the start location where we will visit the team bus and meet the riders as they prepare for the day ahead. There may even be time for a stroopwafel and a coffee. We will then visit the Start Village and the team paddock before setting off for the day.

You will spend the day with us in an official black and yellow TVL minibus equipped with food, drinks and interior TV screens so we can watch the race live during the day*. You will drive on the course of the stage on closed roads and be a proper part of the support team. You will experience the race at various locations.

During the day we will also stop for a lunch break.

We head to the finish area to catch the finale of the race**. Hopefully we can join in with the team celebrations. After the race comes to a close we take you back to the days meeting point.

Age Limit: No children under 12 years old. For children between 12 and 16, please be aware that the experience is a long, all day experience with a lot of travelling. Please make sure they are aware of this before booking.
