Day One- Arrival & Check-in

Arrive at Gran Canaria (LPA) Airport today and we will have a transfer organised to pick you and your luggage to take you to your first hotel. This transfer will be at 13:00pm. Private transfers are also available at an additional price, if the above time does not fit your flight schedule.

Once we arrive at the hotel, you have the rest of the day to settle in, un-pack your luggage and set-up your rental bike, with assistance from our team.

Dinner will be served in the hotel tonight.

Day Two - Soria

Breakfast will be available at the hotel this morning, before we depart on our first guided ride.

We begin the week with a breath taking coastal ride heading west, offering uninterrupted ocean views. After a leisurely 20km warm-up, the day’s main challenge begins: a 7km ascent to the village of Soria. The steady climb meanders through a scenic valley, with a few “surprises” along the way, including short stretches with an 11% gradient. Once at the top, we will rehydrate before making our way back to the hotel.

Day Three - Pico de Las Nieves

Breakfast will be available at the hotel this morning, before we depart on our second guided ride.

Today’s ride heads east, once again hugging the coast. With some good fortune, we’ll dodge any headwinds as we warm up along the shoreline. Our first ascent takes us to the charming village of Santa Lucía, where we can indulge in a well-earned coffee and a selection of delicious cakes and pastries. Refuelled, we’ll take on the next 4km climb, which offers stunning views that stretch from the mountains to the ocean. Afterward, we’ll enjoy a 20km descent back to the hotel.

Day Four - The South to the North

South to North of Gran Canaria

Breakfast will be available at the hotel this morning, before we depart on our third guided ride.

Today marks the pinnacle of the week—both in terms of challenge and elevation. Departing from the island’s southern coast, we’ll embark on a remarkable ride north, culminating in the ascent to Pico de las Nieves, Gran Canaria’s highest peak. This demanding climb involves a tough 2,000-meter elevation gain. Upon reaching the summit, we’ll be rewarded with a thrilling descent to Agaete port, where we’ll catch a ferry for a picturesque 90-minute journey to Tenerife. The crossing provides breathtaking views as we set off on the next stage of our adventure.

We will be aiming to take the 18:00pm ferry across to Tenerife.

Once you are checked-in to your second hotel, dinner will be available at the hotel this evening.

Day Five - Anaga Rural Park

Breakfast will be available at the hotel this morning, before we depart on our fourth guided ride. Today will probably be the biggest challenge of the week, therefore we recommend you fill up at breakfast!

 

Beginning from our hotel in Tenerife, we’ll head into the captivating Anaga Natural Park, one of the island’s most impressive areas. This route provides a unique chance to discover the forests and secluded villages of Anaga, with a climb that is both demanding and rewarding. It’s a cyclist’s paradise, featuring peaceful roads, impressive landscapes, and stunning views at every corner.                 

Dinner will be available at the hotel again tonight. Your hotel will be Barcelo Tenerife, starting from today and for the rest of your trip.

Day Six - Masca Village and Mount Teide

Breakfast will be available at the hotel this morning, before we depart on our fifth guided ride. 

After a brief transfer to our starting point, the day kicks off with 40 km of rolling hills—a blend of gentle climbs and descents that keep the rhythm flowing. Our coffee break awaits by the beach, offering a great spot to refuel. From there, we’ll take on a calm 10 km ascent with a consistent 6% gradient. Once we reach the top, the final 20 km is almost entirely downhill, guiding us back to the comfort of the hotel.

Day Seven - Vilaflor

Breakfast will be available at the hotel this morning, before your sixth and final guided ride.

Our final ride heads north, crossing Tenerife’s famous Teide National Park. Starting in Vilaflor, we’ll tackle a steady 12 km ascent before entering the park’s lunar-like landscape. We’ll then ride through 22 km of volcanic terrain, surrounded by dramatic lava fields and surreal vistas. The day culminates with a heartfelt celebration at Casa Mamá Delgado, where we’ll enjoy her renowned paella—a perfect way to conclude a week of unforgettable cycling adventures.

We would recommend spending some time this evening packing your bags so you can have a lie-in tomorrow morning.

Today is unfortunately the day to say goodbye.

You will have your final breakfast at the hotel today. We will then say our goodbyes and you will depart for Tenerife South Airport on the transfer that has been arranged for you.

Please note: plan your flights to arrive into Gran Canaria Airport (LPA) and depart from Tenerife South Airport (TFS) on the above dates.

Running from Saturday to Saturday, our cycling tours and perfect for exploring some of the best cycling destinations. We stay in Gran Canaria for 3 nights and then in Santa Cruz for 1 night. The next day, you will make your way down south, to spend your last three nights in Golf Del Sur, at Hotel Barcelo. During this time, you will spend 6 days riding. The aim is to ride the best routes and to have a great time along the way with a friendly group. Our tour is fully supported by expert guides, a bike friendly hotel, airport transfers, daily guided rides for different ride levels, mechanical support and feed stops. We also offer bike rental at a supplement.
