E3 Saxo Bank Classic 2026 – Double Oude Kwaremont

E3 Saxo Classic 2026 adds a second ascent of
De Oude Kwaremont to the route.

The 2026 E3 Saxo Classic will include some changes to its route in 2026. The Spring Classic will include a second ascent of the Oude Kwaremont as well as two ascents of  the E3-Col climb. The Muur van Geraarsdbergen will be left out in 2026. These updates make E3 even more similar to the Tour of Flanders. The race will start and finish in Harelbeke as normal and race date is on the Friday before Gent-Wevelgem which takes place on the Sunday of the same weekend. All this adds up to a brilliant weekend of watching and cycling as you can also cycle the Gent-Wevelgem Sportive on Saturday and/ or the E3 Sportive on Sunday! For those with a bit more time you can extend the weekend to include Wednesday and Thursday too as the Flemish Cycling Week starts with the renamed Ronde Van Brugge on Wednesday 26 March 2026 (formerly Classic Brugge- De Panne).

Excellent experience with Sportive Breaks
Excellent experience with Sportive Breaks. All logistics and details were planned and executed as documented, staff were responsive to questions, and it was easy to enjoy the trip without having to manage the small details.

Very well organised tour, loved the private feed stations
Very well organised tour, loved the private feed stations. The operators were flexible despite the road closures and last minute changes caused by external events. Would recommend them for future Etape events, due to the extra logistics that the event creates.

This was my first L'Etape du tour
This was my first L'Etape du tour and my first time using Sportive Breaks. I was impressed with the way they handled everything. From the guided ride to the race briefing. The race briefing was informative with clear details about the 2 private feed stations. I didn't have any issues personally, but those that did seemed to have them resolved by the Sportive Breaks team. Our transfer after the event was delayed, but I don't think that was their fault. I would definitely book with Sportive Breaks again.

This was my first L'Etape du tour
Highly recommend Sportive Breaks. Good organisation from the pre-race details to the pickup in the airport to the hotel and the feed stops on the route. They did a good job of organising in a challenging environment with various people at different points along the route, finishing at different times! Look forward to my next trip!
