We’ll provide a GPS navigation app with curated routes, so you can plan your perfect day on the bike.

Itinerary
Day To Day
On arrival, your private transfer (if you’ve included this in your booking) will be waiting for you to drive you to your hotel in Bormio– approximately 3 hours away if you are flying into Milan Malpensa Airport. If you’re planning to bring your own bike, this will need to be added to your transfer booking and they will be transported with you. Transport for up to 8 people and up to 8 bikes can be booked online. Transfers for larger groups can be quoted on request.
Depending on your arrival and departure times, you may be able to squeeze in some extra cycling time on your arrival and departure days – please ensure you have included enough bike rental time for this if you’re renting a bike to be picked up in Bormio.
It’s entirely up to you how you plan your cycling schedule during your stay. There are plenty of routes that set off from a central point near your hotel, so you can choose your route for each day and also when you wish to rest and relax. Below are a few examples of climbs and rides you can tackle:
- Passo dello Stelvio (From Bormio) – 21.6km | 1549m
- Passo Gavio (From Bormio) – 26.1km | 1471m
- Passo di Mortirolo – 12.4km | 1205m
After breakfast your transfer to Milan Malpensa Airport will take approximately 3 hours. Safe travels home!

The hotel combines a relaxed Alpine feel with comfortable rooms, a restaurant serving local Valtellina flavours, a wellness area, and a garden terrace for unwinding after a day in the mountains.
For cyclists, Hotel Nevada is especially well suited to a Stelvio trip, having been our base for our Stelvio Tours over the past few years. It boasts secure covered bike storage, laundry service, breakfast and evening meals catered to cyclists, and most importantly, direct access to some of Bormio’s most famous road cycling routes and legendary Giro climbs.
