What is GRVL?
Founded in 2019 in Steamboat, Colorado SBT GRVL immediately sold out its first year, attracting 1,500 amateur and professional gravel cyclists from around the world to the picturesque mountain town and its endless gravel roads. Each August the event has continued to grow, and sell out, as it ultimately reached a capacity of 3,000 riders over 4 course distances and 4 days of family friendly shake-out rides, expos, athlete panel, and festivities.
In 2022 SBT GRVL Owner Amy Charity partnered with F1 driver and gravel cyclist Valtteri Bottas, and Professional Cyclist Tiffany Cromwell, with the mission of bringing a GRVL event to Valtteri’s hometown of Lahti, Finland. In its inaugural year FNLD GRVL drew in over 800 riders from 27 countries with World Tour professionals competing for a 20,000 Euro prize purse, as well as nearly 150 first time gravel racers lining up in downtown Lahti.
Each year our events continue to grow globally as cyclists have come to associate GRVL with a premium cycling experience in unique locations with a diverse and communal atmosphere that’s as competitive and challenging as it is enjoyable and we’re excited to share our latest event with you.

Day One - Arrival

Arrive in Adelaide, our mechanic will be on hand in the hotel to assist with bike assembly. This afternoon join us for a happy hour meet and greet.

Day Two - Shake Out Ride

Location
After breakfast, we will depart on bike for a short tarmac ride to Norwood to experience the start of today’s efex Men’s Stage 3: (Norwood to Uraidla). Once we watch the elite men depart we will make our way to the finish area in Uraidla via a combination of tarmac and gravel roads supported by our local guides.
This afternoon we will return in time to the event village to see the race briefing and elite panel before dinner

Day Three - Race Day

This morning we will depart early by transfer from the Pullman Hotel to the race precinct. Transfers are available for riders + bikes and also non-riders as part of this package.
Post-race we will have a transfer returning back to the Hotel. The rest of the evening is free for you to enjoy

After breakfast we will depart by bike to Willunga Hill where we will enjoy today’s stage plus also a private area near the finish line including the Valtteri Bottas Sausage Sizzle
We will have private transfers back to the Pullman all guests

After breakfast we will depart by bike for the Budgy Ride from the TDU Village to the Beach, and return. For today’s, final stage ou will enjoy a private RADL GRVL x Santos Tour Down Under Watch Party located near the finish line and includes some drinks and finiger food.
