The Giro d’Italia is the first grand tour of the season, a three week stage race taking in various regions of Italy. The riders take on 21 stages across different terrains designed for all types of riders; sprinters, climbers and puncheurs. The route changes every every year which means the type of rider who attends will change too. Grand Tours are highly prestigious and any victory is highly sought after by all riders. But the biggest question is, who will win the battle for the pink jersey in 2025? There are three grand tours every year, the others are; Tour de France and La Vuelta.

The 2025 Giro d’Italia will take place between Saturday 10th May and Sunday 1st June.
The official route announcement for the Giro has been delayed until January 2025. The available stages and packages will go on sale soon after the route announcement. Sign up to the notification list to be the first to know when they go on sale. Please note that on some stages you may be staying in a different location each night. Once on sale, be warned – places will be limited!

Hotel for two nights: Our hotels are well-located for stage access. Stay either two nights in the same hotel or one night near the start followed by one night near the finish (depends on the stage).

Drive on the stage route: Drive on the race route in a TVL vehicle and be part of the support crew. TV Screens with live race coverage on board as well as drinks and snacks.
Meet the Team: Hosted by the team you will be part of the team’s bid to win the Pink Jersey during one of the Giro stages. Visit the team bus before the stage, drive in a TVL branded vehicle on the stage route hosted by the team, assist at team feed stops and much more!

Our hotel
We are staying at a conveniently located hotel that is close to the start of tomorrow’s stage. Your package includes 2 nights and this will be on a half-board basis, with breakfasts and evening meals included. Depending on the stage, you may be staying at 2 different hotels during your experience.
This afternoon and early evening, your Team Visma | Lease a Bike host is available for you at the hotel. During the evening meal we will provide a briefing on the exciting experience ahead, as well as offering you the opportunity to meet and greet the riders and support team. Your host will run you through what to expect from the race day tomorrow.
After breakfast at the hotel your Giro d’Italia race day experience starts. You will spend the day as a guest of the team in an official TVL minibus equipped with route map and interior TV screens so we can watch the race live during the day.
On our way to the stage start we will visit the hotel where the team are staying. Here one of the team directors will give you the inside track on the team’s race tactics for the day. After this we make our way to the start location where we will visit the team bus and meet the riders as they prepare for the day ahead. There may even be time for a stroopwafel and a coffee. We will then visit the Start Village and the team paddock before setting off for the day.
You will spend the day with us in an official black and yellow TVL minibus equipped with food, drinks and interior TV screens so we can watch the stage live during the day*. You will drive on the course of the stage on closed roads and be a proper part of the support team. You will experience the race at various locations.
During the day we will be handing out musettes, wheels and water bottles during the race. We will also stop for a lunch break.
We head to the finish area to catch the finale of the race**. Hopefully we can join in with the team celebrations. After the race comes to a close we will head to our hotel and finish with an evening meal together.

Team Visma | Lease a Bike ‘in the Heart of the Race’ VIP experiences
Ahead of Race Day we will communicate the day’s itinerary and the start and finish locations.
The day begins with our Team Visma | Lease a Bike host who will meet you to begin your race day experience. You host will be an ex-pro rider who will offer professional insights into the race. The first stop is a visit to the team hotel where one of the team Directors will share the team’s race strategy with you for the day.
After visiting the team hotel, we set off for the start area where you will visit the Team Bus to see how a World Tour Cycling Team prepare for a race day. From there you visit the start village for the team presentations and rider sign on. Now it’s time for the race to get underway.
You will be in an official Team Visma | Lease a Bike vehicle with full race accreditation for access to the race course. The vehicle is equipped with a map of the official race route and live TV coverage. During the day you will stop at multiple points on the roadside and have a chance to hand out bottles to the riders as they come past. During the day we will stop for lunch along with having snacks and drinks available throughout the day.
We aim to arrive at the finish in time to see it live but we can’t guarantee this as it depends on how the race plays out on the day. Once the race and podium ceremonies are over the full race day experience with Team Visma | Lease a Bike draws to a close. Your host will take you to the end point.
