2027 UCI Gravel World Championships in Chatel, Haute-Savoie, France
Sportive Breaks are the Gran Fondo experts so we will be providing hotel and support packages for riders from all nationalities for the 2027 UCI Gravel World Championships.
The event will be held in Chatel, Haute-Savoie, France, as part of the 2027 UCI Cycling World Championships, which run from 24 August to 5 September 2027. The 2027 UCI Cycling World Championships Haute-Savoie Mont-Blanc run from 24 August to 5 September 2027, and the Gravel World Championships in Châtel are scheduled for Thursday 26 August and Friday 27 August 2027.
The final race schedule and course details have not yet been published, but the gravel venue has been confirmed as Châtel. Competitors will attend according to the event(s) for which they have qualified.
Sportive Breaks Tour dates:

- Tour extensions – Post Gravel World Championships spectating
To qualify, participants must compete in an event that forms part of the 2026 and 2027 UCI Gran Fondo World Series and finish within the qualifying positions for their age category. Qualifying is often more achievable than many riders expect, making this an excellent opportunity to represent your country on the world stage in 2027. For the 2027 UCI Gran Fondo World Championships in Haute-Savoie, Sportive Breaks we plan will offer comprehensive travel and support packages, with experienced staff to help riders and supporters make the most of their championship experience. Further details on accommodation, airport transfers, route information, event support, and tour inclusions will be announced once official information is released.

Day To Day
Please arrange to meet us at your chosen hotel in Busselton. If you have opted to make use of the airport transfers from Perth Airport, please see the key details below.
Airport transfers
Included with your package we offer airport transfers for you, your luggage, and your bike from Perth International airport at set times. If you wish to make use of these then you are required to book your flights in line with our transfer timings.
Please note the transfer times below and please consider these when booking your flights. Please ensure that you arrive in plenty of time ahead of our transfer time. We cannot always guarantee that we can wait for you if you arrive late.
Please note that we can’t provide refunds if you decide not to make use of our airport transfers.

TRANSFER DURATION OF 3 HOURS
We will depart Perth Airport at the advertised times so please book a flight that lands in Perth at least an hour before the scheduled transfers depart.

THIS AFTERNOON/EVENING
Once you have settled into the hotel and un-packed your bags our mechanics are available to assist with setting up your bike.
This morning our team are available for mechanical support in Busselton. We will offer a regular shuttle service from our hotels in Busselton over to Nannup where all activities will take place today. Today we will also offer guided rides to check out the courses for this weekend’s races.

About the UCI Gravel World Championships
2025 UCI Gravel World Championships
The 2025 UCI Gravel World Championships were held in Limburg, The Netherlands. Florian Vermeersch of Belgium claimed his first world title after two previous silver medals, winning solo after attacking with 19km to go. The Woman’s race was won by Lorena Wiebes of the Netherlands who won in a sprint finish, narrowly beating teammate and defending champion Marianne Vos.
2024 UCI Gravel World Championships
The 2024 UCI Gravel World Championships were the 3rd edition of this event and they took place in Belgium. Mathieu van der Poel and Marianne Vos were the winners.
2023 UCI Gravel World Championships
In 2023 the event was held in Italy. In the Women Elite category on Saturday, Kasia Niewiadoma took the rainbow jersey with an epic solo attack 20KM from the finish. In the Men’s Elite Race on Sunday 8 October, the big names from other cycling disciplines like Wout Van Aert, Matej Mohoric , Cameron Mason and Florian Vermeersch were all there to battle for the finish line. In the end, Slovenian rider Matej Mohoric took the win.
