Itinerary
Day To Day
Please make your way to your chosen hotel today or make use of our optional airport transfer from Barcelona Airport where our team will meet you. The transfer takes 4 hours from Barcelona.
What about my bike?
We have planned to transport bike boxes on our airport transfers. Our mechanic will be available this afternoon at the hotel to assist you with building your bike after travel. Bikes can be safely stored at the hotel.
Group airport transfers from Barcelona Airport – £185 return
Today we offer one airport transfer which departs Barcelona Airport at 14:00pm. When you make your booking, you can add this group airport transfer. Please book a flight that arrives before this time. You can book our group airport transfer for £185 for a return journey per person with luggage and bike.
Please contact us for a quote on a private airport transfer at another time from Barcelona or other airports.
Your stay will be for 3 nights and will be on a bed and breakfast basis. You will have an early breakfast on race day.
After breakfast and preparing the bikes, we will take you on a supported, guided ride which will include stopping in Sabinanigo to collect your race pack.
We’ll be back at the hotel in the afternoon for you to rest and get prepared for tomorrow. This evening our bike guides will do a race briefing to run through Gran Fondo Quebrantahuesos day logistics and of course the route.
The evening is free for you to eat out in a local restaurant.
We have an early start this morning. Early breakfast is arranged in the hotel restaurant.
Once you finish in Sabinanigo there’s no need to worry as your accommodation is located close to the finish.
This afternoon and early evening we’ll assist you with re-packing your bikes ahead of travel.

In the evening we’ll have a few drinks at a local bar to celebrate your achievement.
After breakfast, we offer our optional transfer back to Barcelona Airport.

Gran Fondo Quebrantahuesos
The Quebrantahuesos is Spain’s most iconic cycling sportive, attracting over 10,000 riders each June to the stunning Pyrenees. Starting and finishing in Sabiñánigo, the 200 km route crosses into France and back, tackling four legendary climbs including the Somport, Marie-Blanque and the long, demanding Col du Portalet. With around 3,500 metres of elevation gain, it’s a true challenge for experienced cyclists seeking a pro-level riding experience.
