At Sportive Breaks, your peace of mind is just as important to us as delivering exceptional sporting experiences. When you book with us, you can be confident that your money is fully protected through recognised UK travel protection schemes.

UK law requires tour operators to put in place financial security to protect monies paid for package holidays sold in the UK in the event of them going out of business (due to their financial failure). Before you book a package holiday always check that the tour operator you are booking with is legally compliant.

ABTA Protection

Sportive Breaks is a member of ABTA (The Association of British Travel Agents). Our ABTA membership number is Y6767. Travel package bookings that do not include flights are protected under ABTA’s scheme, which provides security and support if we were unable to complete your arrangements due to insolvency. Note that this protection only covers Travel Packages and no single service bookings such as Event Entry Only, Hospitality Ticket Only, Hotel Only. ABTA protection covers:

• A refund for holidays not yet taken, or
• Assistance and repatriation if you are already abroad

ATOL Protection

Destination Sport Experiences is an ATOL‑protected tour operator. Our ATOL number will be clearly shown on your booking confirmation and invoice.

ATOL (Air Travel Organiser’s Licence) protection applies when you book a flight-inclusive package or flight-plus arrangement with us. This means that if we were to cease trading, you would be protected and;

• You would receive a full refund for any ATOL‑protected flights and packages you have not yet travelled on, or
• If you are already travelling, you would be repatriated back to the UK at no extra cost.

All customers booking flight-inclusive arrangements will receive an ATOL Certificate, which confirms exactly what is protected, who is protecting it and what to do if something goes wrong. We recommend that you check your ATOL Certificate carefully as soon as you receive it.
