The town sits at the crossroads of the Lombardia classics routes and the foothills of the Alps, making it an excellent base for both serious riders and cycling fans.
The climb to Piani di Bobbio is Lecco’s signature ride and one of the most accessible mountain ascents in northern Italy. Starting from Lecco and climbing via Barzio, riders gain access to the ski station roads that regularly feature in professional cycling training camps and Giro d’Italia race planning. The ascent offers spectacular views of the surrounding Alps and can be tackled directly from the hotel without the need for transfers.
