On Friday 17 April 2026, the Brabantse Pijl will welcome the biggest stars of the peloton on the route between Beersel and Overijse. The women start in Lennik. The race heralds the transition between the Flemish cobbled races and the hilly races in the Ardennes which are to follow. Since 2025 the race has taken place on the Friday before the Amstel Gold Race with the Tour of Limburg taking the mid-week spot two days before. The Ardennes Classics starts with the Amstel Gold Race followed by Fleche Wallone on the Wednesday and finally Liege Bastogne Liege thereafter.

Huizingen Castle is the spectacular backdrop for the start of the Brabantse Pijl. The elegant castle is surrounded by a lush paradise teeming with flora and fauna.
