We’ll provide a GPS navigation app with curated cycling routes, so you can plan your perfect day on the bike.

Itinerary
Day To Day
On arrival, your private transfer (if you’ve included this in your booking) will be waiting for you to drive you to your hotel in Port Alpe d’Huez– approximately 2 hours 30 minutes away if you are flying into Geneva Airport and 2 hours from Lyon Airport. If you’re planning to bring your own bike, this will need to be added to your transfer booking and they will be transported with you. Transport for up to 8 people and up to 8 bikes can be booked online. Transfers for larger groups can be quoted on request.
Depending on your arrival and departure times, you may be able to squeeze in some extra cycling time on your arrival and departure days – please ensure you have included enough bike rental time for this if you’re renting a bike to be picked up in Alpe d’Huez.
It’s entirely up to you how you plan your cycling schedule during your stay. There are plenty of routes that set off from a central point near your hotel, so you can choose your route for each day and also when you wish to rest and relax. Below are a few examples of climbs you can tackle:
- Alpe d’Huez – 12.6km | +1023m
- Col du Galibier – 17.5km | +1190m
- Col du Télégraphe – 12.1km | +1042m
- Col de la Croix de Fer – 28.4km | +1586m
- Col du Glandon – 26.3km | +1354m
After breakfast your transfer to Geneva Airport will take approximately 2 hours 30 minutes or if you are flying home from Lyon Airport, this will take approximately 2 hours.

Hotel de Milan is family run hotel located in Bourg d’Oisans. The hotel is well equipped to cater for cyclists with a bike room, bike washing station and free laundry facilities. There is an onsite gym, games area and a outdoor swimming pool for summer months with seating.
Rooms are spacious with a en suite, TV and Wi-fi. The hotel also has a restaurant which serves breakfast and evening meal.
