50 miles: from 9:00 AM
Our vehicle will wait at the Start/Finish area in Sprimont, and will provide shuttles back to our hotel through the afternoon.
After breakfast we travel to Quai des Ardennes to enjoy the build up to the race. The riders set off at 9:15 AM and return about 4:00 PM. We will then offer a shuttle service out onto the race route to watch the live action.
If you would prefer to rest your legs and spend the day in Liege, there will be plenty of like-minded fans watching the race unfold in a cafe before heading outside to catch the finish. The race organizers usually install a giant screen near the finish area to allow the public to watch the race.
In the evening, we will collect rental bikes, and assist with re-packing your bikes for travel.
We will run one airport transfer to Brussels Airport on departure at 09.00 for flights departing after 12.00. (available at a supplement)
More About the Event
The Liege Bastogne Liege Sportive is the hardest sportive of the spring classics. For amateur riders, the ultimate challenge is to do the long distance and ride the same route the pros will ride on the following day. You will climb Côte de Saint-Roch (the wall of Houffalize), Côte de Wanne, and Côte de Stockeu.
Shorter distances of 95 miles and 50 miles are available. All Sportive distances start and finish near Liege.
Please note that the start and the finish of the LBL Challenge is no longer in the center of Liege. The Sportive now starts and finishes in Sprimont. Our package includes transfers for you and your bike between Liege and Sprimont.
