2026 Gran Fondo Mont Ventoux with Sportive Breaks
Join the legendary Colnago Gran Fondo Mont Ventoux in Vaison-la-Romaine, France, taking place on Sunday 7th June 2026. This is a bucket list cyclosportive that challenges riders to conquer the iconic Mont Ventoux, the “Giant of Provence.” This event, now in its sixth year, is celebrated for world class organization and rivals top sportives like the Etape du Tour. Three distances are available—Granfondo (135 km, 3100 m elevation), Mediofondo (106 km, 2600 m), or Piccolofondo (80 km, 2135 m)—each offering a thrilling summit finish at nearly 2,000 meters.
Pedal through Provence’s stunning landscapes, from lavender fields and vineyards to the dramatic Gorges de la Nesque and quaint Provençal villages, with challenging climbs like the Col de l’Homme Mort or the Sault ascent. With top-notch feed stations, medical and mechanical support, and festive post-race celebrations, this event is a cyclist’s dream. As part of this package, you will be staying in Vaison-La-Romaine for 3 nights, which is the home of the Event Expo and start line. Your stay will be on a half-board basis and an early breakfast will be arranged on the day of the event. Guided rides will be available on arrival day and the 6th, as well as a group transfer from/to Marseille Airport. Throughout the weekend, mechanical support will be available from our local guides.

Entry available from £70: Your entry to GF Ventoux is not included in our package, but it can be added to your booking during our booking journey.
Three distances available: Choose from 135km, 106km or 80km. All distances begin in Vaison-La-Romaine and will end on the Ventoux Summit.
Included with your package: Stay 3 nights in Vaison-La-Romaine on a half-board basis. We include guided rides with feed stops and group transfers from/to Marseille Airport.
Ride support & guided rides: Our local guides will be on hand to provide expert support throughout the weekend. From mechanical assistance to riding tips, they will have you covered!

Day To Day
Please arrange to meet us at our hotel in Vaison. We are staying at Hotel La Bastide on a half-board basis. If you have opted for airport transfers, see the key details below.
Airport transfers
Included with your 2026 GF Ventoux Package, we offer optional airport transfers for you, your luggage, and your bike from Marseille airport at set times. If you wish to make use of these then you are required to book your flights in line with our transfer timings.
Please note the transfer times below and please consider these when booking your flights. Please ensure that you arrive in plenty of time ahead of our transfer time. We cannot always guarantee that we can wait for you if you arrive late.
Please note that we can’t provide refunds if you decide not to make use of our airport transfers.

ARRIVAL TRANSFERS AT 13:00 & 18:00 ON FRIDAY
TRANSFER DURATION OF 90 MINUTES
We will depart Marseille Airport at 13:00 & 18:00, so please book a flight that lands in Marseille an hour before the scheduled transfers depart. We will arrive at our hotel in Vaison around 14:30 or 19:30.

THIS AFTERNOON/EVENING
Once you have settled into the hotel, un-packed your bags and set-up your bike with the help of our mechanics, we will run a short group ride for those on the earlier transfer to loosen the legs up ahead of the weekend.
Dinner will be available at the hotel tonight.
THIS MORNING
Breakfast will be available at the hotel this morning. Then there will be a group ride to prepare yourself for tomorrow’s event. Regular stops will be planned, so you can enjoy a coffee, some lunch and the beautiful surrounding scenery.
THIS AFTERNOON/EVENEING
After the group ride, time will be put aside this afternoon for you to visit the event expo and register for the Gran Fondo tomorrow. As you will be staying in Vaison-La-Romaine, the event expo will only be a short walk away. The event expo will be open from 09:00am to 19:00pm. GF Ventoux 2026 – Event Programme
This evening, dinner will be available at the hotel and our local guides will be provide a ride briefing, which will include key details regarding tomorrow’s event.
Today is the big day! We will have an early breakfast planned and then you will make the short journey down to the start line. The Colnago Gran Fondo Ventoux 2026 will begin from 07:30am.
KEY TIMINGS

- Arrival of the first Piccolofondo (80km) rider at the Ventoux Summit: 10:00am

We will run shuttles back to Vaison from Malauence, which is a short descent from the Ventoux Summit. This will be in time for award ceremony and the post-event meal provided by the organisers, taking place at the Event Expo.
This evening will be free for you to explore the local area and dinner will be available at the hotel.
Today is unfortunately the day to say goodbye.
Once you have had breakfast, packed your bags and said goodbye, we will run airport transfers back to Marseille Airport at set times. For those who have not opted to use our scheduled transfer, your experience ends here. Safe travels home!

Culminating in a summit finish at 1,912 metres above sea level, with closed roads, professional-level support, and breathtaking views, the Colnago GF Ventoux delivers a true granfondo experience.
Each participant receives a free Santini race jersey, which is mandatory to wear during the event, along with a personalized race number and timing chip. The course is fully supported with six well-stocked refueling stations on the long route, offering energy drinks, bars, and gels. Mechanical and medical assistance is available throughout the race to ensure rider safety and comfort.
At the finish line, cyclists are rewarded with a finisher medal, a souvenir bag, and access to a celebratory pasta party.
