Etape du Tour de France Extension with Sportive Breaks
Extend Your Alpine Adventure in Megève
Make the most of your trip to the Alps and extend your stay in Megève after the Sportive Breaks 2027 Etape du Tour weekend. Perfectly positioned in the heart of the action, this three night extension gives you the chance to experience two spectacular Tour de France mountain stages while enjoying the comfort and hospitality of Hotel Au Vieux Moulin.
After conquering the Etape, unwind on Monday by the hotel’s outdoor pool or spin the legs out on an optional recovery ride with our guides. On Tuesday, witness the world’s best riders tackle the legendary Côte de Domancy twice, with excellent viewing opportunities close to Megève. Then on Wednesday, the Tour de France tackles the Etape du Tour route from Cluses to Les Saisies. From the hotel, you can ride to one of the best vantage points on the course and experience the atmosphere as the race passes through the Alps. Non-riders can also enjoy easy access to the route, with the race passing just 4km from the hotel.
Your extension includes three nights at Hotel Au Vieux Moulin on a half-board basis. Bike hire and Geneva Airport transfers are also available to complete your trip.

Airport Transfers
We offer group transfers from Geneva Airport at set times. Many of our clients will not require airport transfers on arrival as they are already staying in the area after the Etape du Tour. We therefore only offer group airport transfers on return on Thursday. If you require a private transfer, please contact us to book.

Located in the heart of Megève, the Hotel Au Vieux Moulin offers comfortable accommodation in a traditional Alpine setting, making it an excellent base for riders wishing to see the Tour. The outdoor heated pool offers an ideal space to relax and soak up the sun.
After the tour, guests can enjoy the lively atmosphere of Megève.
Secure Bike storage is available and clean bikes will be allowed in bedrooms if you bring a bike cover

If you were with us for our Etape du Tour weekend we will help transport you to the Hotel Au Vieux Moulin.
Rental bikes will also be available from today and our mechanic will be on hand to help if needed.
You can rest and relax by the hotel pool and soak up the alpine atmosphere in Megève. A short guided recovery ride will be offered for those who wish to turn their legs after the Etape.

Tuesday - Stage 10 Annecy - Sallanches

The pro riders will be setting off from Annecy at lunchtime then taking on the Plan du Salève and Brison climbs, then pass through Sallanches for the first time: the riders will then do the Cote de Domancy and passing very close to your accommodation in Megève before the Montée de Bettex. We will take you to a vantage point on the course or you are free to choose your own viewing spot.

Wednesday - Stage 11 Cluses - Les Saisies

Today the Pros will be tackling the Etape du Tour de France stage, which culminates with the Col du Pré and Montée de Bisanne. Our guides will suggest a viewing point on the road where you will be able to soak up the exciting tour atmosphere for the second day in a row. Today is Bastille day and a french public holiday so the atmosphere will be electric as the French hope for a Seixas win and there may even be fireworks this evening to celebrate in Megève !
