Giro d’Italia Stage Starts

Every day, a sponsor and spectator village is set up near the start zone, where the Giro Sponsors can present their products and services and do public relation activities. The area is open to the public and is the perfect place to spend the morning waiting for the flag to be dropped, with dedicated entertainment activities for children and adults, featuring music and games.

For the 21 days of the Giro d’Italia the sunrises each day upon the beautiful Italian squares of the host cities and the Giro starts anew. With espressos still warm the riders gather each morning in the Start Village, along with the sponsors, RCS organisation management and guest in preparation to depart on the days stage.

Sportive Breaks put you right in the heart of this exciting pre-race atmosphere. Upon arrival at the Start Area, guests will collect their pass to access one of two available areas near the signature podium, offering non-stop coffee/bar service.

Puccini area

Available on every stage, the ‘Puccini’ start experience is the standard area at the start of each Giro d’Italia stage.

Michelangelo area

Michelangelo is the top level option at the start and is the closest to the signature podium.
