If you plan to fly then we offer airport transfers for you, your luggage and your bike from Pisa or Florence airport. The journey to Siena takes about 1hr30 from Pisa and about 2hr30 from Florence.

Pisa Airport – shuttles at 12noon (for flights landing before 11am) and 6pm (for flights landing before 5pm).

Florence Airport – shuttles at 1pm (for flights landing before 12noon) and 7pm (for flights landing before 6pm).

Our mechanic is available in Siena this afternoon to fit rental bikes and to assist you with building your own bike after travel. Bikes can be stored in your room.

Enjoy an evening meal at the hotel, and a chance to meet your fellow cyclists.

After breakfast and any last-minute bike adjustments, we will take you on a supported, guided ride that covers some of the route of Strade Bianche, including the final 15 miles 25km of the pro race route.

We will then return to Siena in time to watch the finish of the men’s and women’s races. It’s a short walk back to either of our hotels, where we will enjoy a pasta meal ahead of the big ride tomorrow.

Yesterday you watched the world’s top riders take on the white roads, today it’s your turn. Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel before riding the short distance to the start area at Fortezza Medicea.

You can choose to ride either the Gran Fondo or Medio Fondo events. Both rides start at the Fortezza Medicea and finish on the iconic Piazza del Campo. 2026 routes are tbc, the information below refers to the 2025 routes.

The Gran Fondo is 85 miles, including 26 miles of gravel roads. There is 6,500ft of climbing, including 3,400ft on gravel roads.

The Medio Fondo is 55 miles, including 13 miles of gravel roads. There is 4,400ft of climbing, including 1,800ft on gravel roads.

Our support crew will set up 2 private feed stops on the course, in addition to those provided by the event organization.

This evening, we will enjoy an evening meal together at our hotel, where we can share stories of our exploits!

Breakfast is provided at the hotel this morning, before we bid Arrivederci to Siena.

Our shuttle departs Siena at 9am, arriving at Florence Airport by 10.30am, and at Pisa Airport by 11.30am. Private airport transfers can be booked on request if you aren’t able to book a flight in line with these times.
