The Tirreno Adriatico is a 7-day race which crosses Italy from the Mediterranean Coast to the Italian Adriatic Coast. The race is also called the Race Between Seas and in keeping with the nautical theme, the winner’s trophy is a trident. A stellar line up of top riders tends to race the Tirreno every year.
The 60th edition of the Tirreno-Adriatico will take place from Monday 10 March and Sunday 16 March 2025. The “Race of the two Seas” usually touches five regions of central Italy, starting from Tuscany and then passing through Umbria, Lazio, Marche and Abruzzo, where the race usually ends in San Benedetto del Tronto.
