Tro Bro Leon with Sportive Breaks
Join us in Brittany for the 41st edition of Tro Bro Leon. The race is also known as the “Hell of the West” with the route taking on 24 Ribinou sections (a Breton word meaning “anything but tarmac”). Tro Bro is Brittany’s equivalent of Paris Roubaix, and is gaining a reputation as “the new Strade Bianche” due to the gravel farm tracks. There are two winners of this race – the first to cross the finish line and the first Breton rider who receives a piglet.

- 107km with 14 Ribinou sections

- Vintage with 7 Ribinou sections

Itinerary
Day To Day
Please arrange to meet us at our hotel. Full details will be released soon.
Many people drive to Brittany from the UK. Ferries are available to Roscoff from Plymouth, alternatively you can travel from Portsmouth to St Malo. However, please be aware that this means there will be a three hour drive when you arrive in France.
You can enjoy a leisurely morning with breakfast at the hotel before getting ready for the sportive. In 2023 the start times for the sportive were as follows:
131km and 107km departs at 13:00
Gravel – 79km departs at 14:00
Vintage departs at 14:30
After the event we will head back to the hotel for our evening meal and celebratory drink.
After breakfast at the hotel you will be free to head out and see how the pros tackle the Ribinou sections! Make sure you get to the finish line to see who wins the famous prize….a Piglet!
After breakfast, please check out of the hotel and depart.
